Tonight, two astrological events will combine to create a truly rare occurrence. The winter solstice occurs tonight ó or tomorrow morning, depending on where you happen to live ó meaning that itís the longest night of the year. Combine that with a lunar eclipse, which only occurs a few times per year, and you have the recipe for one of the longest, darkest nights that any living human has had the opportunity to witness. This rare combination hasnít occurred since 2010, and before that it hadnít happened in nearly 400 years, so itís pretty special.

For the love of doom, stop with the eclipse misinformation.

There is no lunar eclipse occurring.

February 10th, 2017 is the next lunar eclipse.

Fake news, click bait, sensationalism, trolling, psychological testing of the general population's pre-programmed disposition to swallow and regurgitate bullshit without fact-checking it first...

There really is a plethora of things it could be discerned to be...

There was a solstice total lunar eclipse six years ago. There isn't one this year. It's fake news.
