Nations have been attempting to manipulate or influence the politics of other countries, in order to achieve their own objectives for a very long time. Most recently, we witnessed the use of psychological operations (PSYOPs) and “fake news” to directly influence the outcome of the U.S. election. Although Russia never came out and confirmed it, U.S. intelligence indicates they were directly involved.

I seen this and I know it's a forewarning. It's coming for sure.

Does not make sense, you can not just shut the internet down, they could disable DNS servers which would cause a problem for the plebs...

Attacks on DNS servers has gotten increasingly sophisticated. CIOs say the attackers are probing for a way to take down the entire system - without resorting to the brute-force DOS technique.

Remember the suspicious DNS issues a few months ago during the Wikileaks releases? Smacks of government involvement.

This is a good prediction because vendors are having issues upgrading the nodes. The nodes are on old Cisco hardware and because of Cisco it can be easily hack with people with skilz.

Just think when my comcast network or your cox network or your time warner or whatever you have goes down for half a day.... it can happen

The quote itself is absurd since the internet consists of many different parts all over the world. It is actually impossible to fully shut down the "internet" everywhere on the planet unless some world wide crisis occurs that knocks out all electricity.

I don't think you're thinking this through. He says in the article that the financial markets would crash. If there are broke financial markets the next day, how will the internet function ?

Without an exchange there is no commerce. If the money is worthless then what ? With just in time delivery this could very well happen.

I think this is going to happen although I think some of society will survive. This guy is a shill de'jor for sure as far as what he is saying but, how many people have been warning about this exact scenario ? The net may not go down 100% but, it doesn't take 100% of it to go down to devastate your bank account either.
