For awhile now, I keep coming across things that point back to 1947.

It's easy to see the normal things that take place from year to year but 1947 has a lot more things going on.

Prominent people born.

Interesting magazines started.

Matter of fact, go look for the first few issues of some publications. Try for instance, FATE magazine.

Get an idea of what information started taking hold in that year. FATE is just an example.

How about The Economist from that year, etc.

It all kicked off in 82, the year I was born.

I've often wondered what the importance of this year was as well. I have seen it come to the surface many times throughout different studies. Its not when everything "started" but it is an important year and I am interested to hear what other people have found related to that year.
