No Christmas Bonus, No end of year pay raise

First time in 7 years not getting a Christmas bonus. Haven't had a raise in 2 years. WTF??

Work at a hospital/research facility.
Getting tons of hours and overtime, but no end-of-year bonus this time around.
They (unofficially) blamed it on obamacare and its regulatory nightmare costs.

I'm an auto mechanic, paid on commission. I have had some sweet checks the past month, weve been busy. But I was looking forward to the Christmas bonus.

My daughters car's starter solenoid took a dump a few days ago. Had it towed & repaired. Cost a pretty penny.

Yes yes, a job is good, so is a christmas bonus. Didn't get one of those this year.

Lets see what a Trump presidency will bring us next year.

There are some shady mechanics out there, if you find an honest one spread the word. Took me a long time to find a reputable shop to work at. Not all of us are crooks

2017 will be the year of raises and bonuses, 40hr work weeks instead of 50+ (salaried workers know what I mean).
President Trump is going to fight as hard as he can against these idiot corporate leaders who are bad at economics and human insight. Trump will bring back the ancient Christmas Bonuses and the good old fashioned raises.

Then for once, Millenials can learn what those things were that existed before they we're born.

I am on the border if millenial and gen X and I hope Trump can give us real progress.

Don't feel so bad... Once Trump pisses off China enough and they collapse the dollar, it won't matter anyway...

I took a pay cut and NOTHING else in 5 years at hospital.Then again we were in BK court with 3 different 'owners' in that time.

I used to work for a company that back in 08'/09' when the economy went south they wanted a "bonus" of sorts from me in the form of free labor.

Wanted me to work overtime hours but not charge them b/c the owners idiot son didn't estimate a job properly.

Yes, I did it. I really had no choice b/c no one else at the time was hiring but I had a long memory starting that day and the first chance I could leave I did.

Owners son I hear stays locked in his "mancave" getting drunk all day and yelling at his poor wife....Serves em' right. Fuck people over intentionally and overtly like that and don't be surprised when they come for retribution.

BTW, the owner didn't believe me when I said I was leaving. Even on my last day he thought it was a ruse to try to get more money or to make a point. Was really effed up when I was no longer around the following week.

Heard he can barely keep the doors open now. Serves the fucker right.
