Need your Prayers and Good Vibrations for my 4 year old daughter, going through Major Heart Surgery Right Now (Updated)

Thank you. This is number 3 for us. The first was a PA band, no open heart. The last was full on open heart. Today could lead to full on open heart, if they cannot get the plug device situated.

She will be fine. Medical tachnowlogy is great now a days. I will pray ofcourse for a smooth and speedy recovery, but we all know nature will take care of that too. Do enjoy your long and happy life with your daughter, never take life for granted.

We couldn't believe it! She had no symptoms! Aortic aneurysm that could have burst any day, and a leaking aortic valve. She maintained a healthy diet, was slim, exercised at the gym and jogged on a regular basis. You never know! I am still amazed! She was never ill. The doctor I found to perform the surgery also did the same open heart surgery on two NBA players. They were back to playing after a year or so of recovery and cardiac rehab. They're still playing for the NBA.

Just got another call. They are still working to see if they can get the current device to work.

With Filicia the group of holes is all the way at the bottom of the heart. So the wall is much thicker and more sponge like. In fact the surgeon described as trying to fix a hole in the middle of a sponge.

Just posted the latest update. They stopped the heart and are now trying to fix things from inside the heart.

I just posted the latest.

They have fixed the device and restarted her heart. They are now working on her pacemaker. Apparently they found some issue with it. Anyhow good news and I know you all prayers and good vibes made a Big difference.
