pain sucks. But after my SECOND open heart surgery,,,sternum split from my neck to nearly my belly button..I woke up after a coma lasting several days, Two chest tubes, tube in my neck, on a ventilator for a week, being forced into respiratory therapy blowing a bubble,,,which I could not do..having someone wipe my ass...a catheter up my dick to piss. Bathed by an Indian nurse who had fun making me groan...vacuum stuck down the ventilator to get crap out of my lungs..4 months of work..Once I got out of the hospital I forced myself to ignore the pain and do not take pain killers.

Kinda make you appreciate the meds...and those who can not afford them. 4 years later,I am glad I had the fortitude to do it..

jus put the pain out or your mind...focus on something else
