Where I live they are everywhere too.

They also speak 10 times louder than English speaking people and yap away loudly and rudely as if they are the only ones there during inappropriate times like while waiting in long lines with other people.

And all they do is SHOP.

I can't remember the last time I went to a store or the mall when it was not completely invaded by Mexicans yapping away loudly with 10 unruly kids in tow.

I don't go to the mall and certain stores anymore partly for this reason.

I used to live in Asia and I would literally have English withdrawals so I bought a Playstation and an online sports game.

But it didn't work cause they didn't port the game to the country I was in. So I emailed and complained until they did. I was surprised they did, I think they felt bad for me. Surely I was the only one playing it in that entire time zone.

I can hardly imagine suffering such an irritating little irk in my own country.

I wonder if they've done studies. No doubt they have.

Then they should learn the language of the place they plan to spend the rest of their lives. I learned basic Spanish before my trip to Costa Rica and that was just for a two month vacation! It pisses me off every time I go to the ATM and it asks me which language I want English or espanol. Fucking shouldn't have to ask as we live in America. Sick of catering to lazy fucks that can't even be bothered to learn the language of the country they live in.

A man that I've known longer than my husband and has worked for my husband for 20 yrs, doesn't know anymore English than the day I met him. My son now works under him and the boy had to learn Spanish to talk to him. Now my son is a commodity because he can speak to the laborers and translate to the superintendent on site. Each night the big Boss calls him, asks what everyone did and then says okay, thanks bud, bye. My son is NOT high up enough to be taking calls from the big Boss, he's 20. There are still things he doesn't even known about masonry. He's a 2 yr apprentice, not even a full Mason and years away from a journeyman Mason. All because the foreman can't speak a lick of english.

I'm actually Native American, Chippewa tribe to be exact. They know English. My problem is not with people speaking another language, it's with people who flat out refuse to learn so the country they are living in has to bend over backwards to accommodate them. Fucking billboards in Spanish, this is America!

You really don't think if you decide to move to a different country and plan on spending the rest of your life there you should maybe know enough of that language to get by at the least? I did it in a month out of respect for their culture, so yeah I'm narrow minded.

When I go into a bank and see the "I speak Spanish" sign at the teller window, I'm glad cause if I were to end up in Mexico or South America, I sure would be happy to see a sign that read "I speak English" or "English spoken here"
