WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange agrees to extradition if Barack Obama releases U.S. military whistleblower Chelsea Manning
The link is on the Daily Mail.

IT was apparently tweeted yesterday.

'If Obama grants Manning clemency Assange will agree to US extradition despite clear unconstitutionality of DoJ (US Department of Justice) case,' WikiLeaks wrote on Twitter on Thursday.

Wonder what this is all about???

Here ya go:

What an internal conflict this brews in me.

Chelsea Bradley is hardly someone I would stand up for, let alone put my neck out for, but I get where Assange is coming from.

Plus, I'm sure he's weighing how innocuous extradition might be under President Trump.

Interesting.

No doubt that Assange would be weighing something.

It means he has a bargaining chip that he knows will help him skate any actual charges. So, Manning gets out, Assange gets acquitted or reduced and/or no jail time.

The Feds will never agree to it.

Wonder what he has...????

Umm ya, Bradley Manning had been a massive source of leaks, he was one of wikileaks first sources.

Right after obummer promised that whistleblowers would be protected instead of persecuted, he threw Manning in solitary for a year.

The sex change thing is just a way for Manning to try to get protected class status and hopefully better treatment, after all he's in for life.

I hear ya! The original offer was tweeted out in September. That was a serious wtf moment for me. Even more so back then, when we didn't really know if Trump would win or not. Assange went all in and is backing up his word. I too think if it happens now, Trump will go easy on him.

And here is something to think about - Manning is on Obozo's shortlist for commutation.

Re: WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange agrees to extradition if Barack Obama releases U.S. military whistleblower Chelsea Manning
How can citizens negotiate with governments like this - it is almost like - when someone is a hostage and governments decide to negotiate or not - like the person wanted for extradition calls the shots - calling into question who is in power - which fair enough should be called into question.

What about Ross Ulbricht for example - what is his worth - who would have to promise to do what to negotiate his jail term?

At least it continues to highlight the whole whistle blowers thing.

I understand the whole secrecy thing - but with intel being so powerful - and theoretically manipulating most crime - and political cause and consequence- then perhaps there should be a lot more transparency in a lot more places - then there would potentially be a lot more peace among us all.

The whole recent MI6 leak thing...

The whole who is on a list thing... like the guy who trucked the German market - intel were well aware of him - and the associate of his known to them...

These days many people globally act as intel - examining every thing - such as on this forum - should the lists be public?

I can see many benefits - if someone is on a list - do we all have a right to know?

For a number of reasons - yes: if we should not be on there - it can be contested - and then you don't get false targets or targets of people who are potential whistleblowers or who stand up against corruption - and also what a deterrent this would be...

if listed people were planning crazy shizzle and then knew they were on a list and watched - surely that would deter... is deterrence not better than - the ultimate measuring of the souls of the potentially corrupt?

should everything be open to democratic response...

If Benghazi happened and was public knowledge - what would have been the immediate response of the public...

I can see the arguements about this - but if you go to the next level - where everything prior was also known.... just imagine for one minute - complete transparency.... about everything.... its a whole different ball game - no more speculation about who is running terror ops or why - who is creating and funding groups such as isil - make the negotiations legitimate - if it is about oil or pipelines - make that the subject of discussion - and diplomaticcally - democratically call for public debate and response\: they have oil - we want it - shall we invade\? Or shall we find better ways to negotiate?

I realise it is a reality far from many people's imaginations.

I'm still not completely convinced Assange hasn't been captured and this could be a way for the US to "publicly" put an end to Assange and quit playing the big charade. Basically it is an exit plan.

Even more interesting.

I wish I knew if it were O's obsession with gender issues or his chance at foiling Assange that got Manning on the short list.

Makes me think O will commute Manning just to stick it to Assange and Trump.

If this is gonna happen, they would spin the Julian Assange story as follows:

- dark vans showing up at the embassy in london
- press gets all over it
- live broadcast of arriving in the u.s.
- Julian waves his hands (=proof of life)

...

keep in mind:

- no proof of life since oct2016
- multiple reports of him being extracted by CIA? ops
- fishy "tv" interviews looking oddly being produced with green screen
- ...

he's already in the u.s. or at a hidden cia facility.

There are always concepts which might possibly be in play beyond the knowledge of any individual perspective: for example it is quite possible that wikileaks is compromised in the sense that what is delivered to wikileaks is censored prior to its arrival at this destination i.e. other things intended to be delivered are not - hence Assange' website simply becomes a political tool for purposes unknown etc.

However it remains that because of the exposures exhibited by the site - Assange has a global following similar to what might be comparable to an elected delegate - such as a president - and thus his following provides, albeit unofficially, for the viewpoint of a particular demographic of the world democracy to be heard - and as such questions the officiality which might presuppose that he ought not to have any bearing such as an elected delegate might effect; for example - a Spartacus type character - with the whole "I am Spartacus"/ anonymous ripple effect coming in to play.

These ideas combined could essentially imply that Assange is being set up as a tool to play this part - one who rises against the establishment - or its corrupt divisions - seemingly for one purpose - but perhaps for another - as part of a political game play - by the intellects some refer to as tptb - or a segment of those.

It is not beyond possibility or even likelihood that what is delivered to wikileaks is done so by a specific and direct orchestration - no matter how individual any individual has the appearance to be.

Such is the game. Such is the play.
