A lot of people are saving up their money for when they get old.
This is a mistake!

Correct but more importantly --> Matthew 6:19: Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; I hadn't thought of the verse in that way. Are you willing to say more? I always considered it godly to save for the future. As one example: Proverbs 21:20 The wise store up choice food and olive oil, but fools gulp theirs down.
