I was a conscious baby. I don't know if that was me just becoming conscious as my brain developed.... or if that was some sort of "other realm" where we all go.. or began from.. and end up here..? When my father died back in 2002, at age 48, the morning after my birthday no less, my mother went to see a "psychic" shortly afterwards with his sister (my aunt) and they purposely told the lady nothing at all regarding any details that could clue her in... and yet somehow.. she knew that my fathers truck tire was flat for the past week... which is a completely random thing to "get as a message from the other side"... Because of THAT though, I felt that somehow, our "conscience/soul/energy" continues on after death in some way, shape or form.. at least for some sort of time frame. So seriously.... does ANYONE honestly KNOW what happens once our body shuts down? (aside from that DMT brain activity part people talk about) I guess I just need some peace of mind... who wouldn't? SO give it to me straight.... do we just completely cease to exist ... or do we go to "heaven".... or reincarnate.. or just live on a different plane/dimension?? Did you ever have a dream that was so intense and vivid it was beyond real.maybe you were young when you had it and you never forgot it? Well,when you die you are going to wake up as a young man before your life got all erratic and your going to tell yourself, man that was one fucked up dream. Hopefully you'll remember your dream and the lessons your life in this dream taught you, and your life will improve. If you don't remember and don't learn from it you'll live it all over again,mistakes and all. Just my 2cents. |

I had one by accident a few months ago and it definitely changes you and makes you question what reality is. They are an entirely different animal. You will know when you have one. You may have very clear vivid dreams that may make you think was that a lucid dream? Trust me there will be no question if you truly have one. There is literally no difference between a lucid dream and waking life except much more is possible in the dream. But you are conscious and aware exactly as you are now. Regular dreams even vivid ones are still just like watching a movie play with you in the driver seat but you arent conscious or in control. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71716554 Funny....
