At the moment of death, the point in time when the heart has stopped, and when the very last neurons in the brain stop firing...

Your consciousness is pulled from your body. You are fully aware of your death. You no longer feel the body, you have none, no eyes nor ears yet you can see and hear. You can see your own lifeless body, if there are people near your body, you can try to speak, or get their attention, but you can't. After some minutes (varies) the sounds begin to fade, everything seems to begin to lose shape and form, darken slightly while a light from a small spot begins to brighten, growing in size and intensity until it consumes your senses, only light. At that point you feel as though you are moving, or traveling, though there is no sensation of movement, no gravity, no body...

It seems as if some time passes, imperceptible time. The light dims slightly, decreases in size and intensity until gone, everthing around you begins to take shape and form. It's not a strange place, you have the inescapable feeling that you have been here before. It's a realm so different from your former world there are no words to describe it. Yet it is all familiar to you, it is in many ways similar to the feeling you have when you've returned home after a long journey...

Beautiful doesn't seem to really capture it, but it will do for now...

At first you are alone, yet you know you are not alone. You discover that you can move about just by thinking where to go. There really is no perception of time there, it is difficult to describe. It is as if everything that has ever happened or will ever happen is all happening at once. You can choose to be in any point in time, or move forward or back...

There is more, much more. But some mysteries must remain for you...

There is life after death!

You don't have to believe, your time will come...

Godspeed
