It's no secret that the Mystery Schools of today are not always in touch with the wisdom of the Ancients. Some are more credible or reliable than others or are money making schemes preying on the gullible. I joined AMORC (based out of San Jose) in 2011 and have always got positive benefits from their monograph study programs, although some of their exercises have been very difficult. Does anyone with experience know if they are shady at all? Have been reading Pierre S. Freeman's writings on AMORC which he claims are a cult and he was mind controlled for 24 years? It's strange because the membership dues are very affordable $15 and you do the work at your own pace~ i am aware many other groups like scientology are scams but I dont get that feeling from amorc , it has helped me in many ways
