"7's Are Sacred" (Weird Website With A Timer Counting Down 7 Days)

What happened?

Found this site researching another topic and has me questioning what I have stumbled upon here...

Weird website associated with the Cicada 3301 group. I found this along my path, and all that it says is "7 is sacred" and has 6 timers counting up, along with one counting down. The timers are currently at 4 days, 6 hours (counting up) and 7 days, 21 hours (counting down).


Update: if you select one of the first five timers, you are redirected to another page with the timer and a description indicating that the timer is due to expire today, the 19th at 11:11:11 in Los Angeles.

So, in less than 30 minutes, we shall see if anything on the site changes when the timer counts all the way down.

For those asking what happened.

Basically, just like the other timers, once it hit :30, there was a series of three beeps, and then the timer reverted direction and begun counting upwards.

The clock is currently running at three minutes to midnight, where 00.00 represents the end of humanity.
