No. Bullshit. It is about one thing: being overly sensitive to every little thing when someone doesn't conform to what you want. She deleted the Tweet almost immediately and even if she didn't you can have an opinion without forming an opinion mob and demanding people's lives are destroyed. The seriousness of that gets diluted in a mob, but it's what you personally are doing. It's what your action means.

And I guarantee you the vast majority of those signing this have made minor mistakes at least on par. Don't pretend otherwise and don't be part of the hair trigger PC problem. And certainly don't pretend it's about something so noble as the children. It's not. It's about your egos.

Katie Rich was the only one who originally posted the tweet, "Barron will be this country's first homeschool shooter", and no one has reported otherwise (that I can find).

Julie Bowen mocked Barron on Twitter, as well, and has since spoken out about that, but she was not the one who posted the tweet that forms the basis for this petition.

(Not that I'm defending Julie Bowen's tweets, though; hers were also quite distasteful.)

Free speech is free and a right we all thankfully share. That does not mean there are no consequences for what you say. She cut off half of the potential audience and there is no need for a petition - she will either be fired or the show will finally collapse...which has been decades long overdue.
