An intelligent designer may be proof of "a god" in the narrow-minded human sense.
It does NOT, however, prove the bible, salvation or religion.
An intelligent designer, from our perspective, could be a 3rd grade ET with a D- science project.
The epitome of narcissism is the ideology that our "creator" must be omnipotent and infallible. As though we are so great that "she who created us" must be perfect.
FFS. We're shit, and our creator would have to be only marginally less shitty to have made us.
