We have a massive desalination plant in El Paso, they still screw us and scam us over water reclamation and efficiency taxes.

Trump's people should reach out to Manoj Bhargava, the gentleman in Michigan who is saying he's putting his millions in profit over his popular energy drink to good use in hiring the best to solve some of the world's biggest problems.

One being the utilization of huge tankers that desalinate at sea and pump fresh water to plants on shore. There's a great video on this project and many others he is tackling.

My point exactly, recently we discovered one of the largest underground fresh water aquifers in the world in our region. My water bill just keeps going up up up so they could build a new water reclamation site.

They scammed everyone in our region with the latest "save water, we're in an apocalyptic drought like California" scam and for the past 20 years everyone has been xero-scaping their lawns, so now hardly anyone has any grass lawns, just shitty rocks and cactus. I'm one of the few who kept my grass, my water bill is over $130 per month now. Absolutely pathetic, I hate the leftist retards who just follow along with whatever the stupid politicos designate as the proper actions to "save the environment".

UGHHHHHHH I am angry at leftards. My "waste-water treatment" portion of the bill is about 85% of the cost of "fresh water".

Build a bilateral solar powered desalination plant system linking the Sea of Cortes to a revitalized Salton Sea and turning the desert southwest and northern Mexico into the world's leading agricultural center.

Just what I was thinking.

I've been thinking about that for a while. they've been experimenting on the texas coast for the last few years with tidal ram pumps to pump water inland. From what I've read most plants in the middle east dump their salt back into the sea after the process, causing fish kills & too salty sea for mile around the discharge. Why not put the salt in tankers or barges & distribute it in arctic to lower the water temp. They've been saying that the melting ice is dumping to much fresh water & reducing the salt concentration & is making the ice melt from the bottom at a faster rate. The extra salt might restore the salt concentration level Making the ice melt at a slower rate, like a big hand turn ice cream freezer. Seems much better of an idea than dumping it near by. The heavy metals & pollution could be removed before piping to users, thus helping to clean our oceans & bays of all the bad stuff. That's just what I think
