Just like two weeks ago, my microwave quit working.

It had a sticker on the back that said that.

It also had those security torx screws in it, but I knew from past experience there is a fuse in there.

Bought the security bit set for $5.99, took the thing apart and low and behold, there was a ceramic fuse in there.

20A, 250V fuse was $2.00.

Put new one in there and viola, it works again.

$8.00 fix and most people would have just thrown it out and bought a new one, or called a repairman.

Hey guy; this: "Bought the security bit set for $5.99"

I need those too; where did you get that set?

Thanks

Take whatever it is to an authorized service center --

those screws are for your safety, to keep you from messing with something you shouldn't

Not one ounce of "handyman" or mechanical ability in your body is there?

Do you drive a Prius too?
