There are many Doom scenarios such as this one that are actually real, potential Earth shattering events, no matter how hard and long the Naysayer may whine about these being impossible. Predicting them seems impossible however and don't hold your breath waiting for any "authority" to warn us all in the event that they see one coming because it ain't ever going to happen. They are not stupid to give the general population ANY warning and frankly I don't blame them. What if they are wrong, and even if they were not the ensuring panic would kill more and create far more havoc than the actual event would. Warnings are completely counter productive. But the government IS warning Americans to prepare for the possibilities of not being able to go to the grocery store every day to get something to eat and it is good advice. Any idiot that could actually stand there and sing out how food will ALWAYS be right there and easily procured for cheap by everyone is simply too stupid to live and should be weeded out of the gene pool anyway. So keep you eyes open and your noses to the wind and put aside anything you might want later in the event of something less than good should it wander this way in the future. It is good, sound advice and always has been. Thank ahead, prepare.
