Magnetic poles about to swap places | |

Earth quakes nearly world wide at the same time? Extreme weather changes worldwide at the same time? Earth basically cracking open world wide? I'd be confused if we didn't see any major, huge changes before or at least at the start of all this happening... think about it... it's the earth flipping opposite sides... I would guess the equator would go through some extreme changes/ chaos and the ice caps completely changing at least... Just my 2 cents worth... (just trying to imagine would this would be like)  This is magnetic poles shifting, not the ACTUAL poles shifting. I would assume magnetic shift would be better than true pole shift. :) |

That could explain the increase in earthquakes and volcanic activity. Long Valley went off around the time of the last pole shift. I would think there would be many smaller volcanoes going off in places you didn't think possible. The oceans would heat up creating hydrogen sulfide from anaerobic bacteria, plus all the sulfur from the volcanoes. We'd also be getting bombarded with cosmic rays and UV radiation. We'll probably all be dead by the time it speeds up enough to cause giant tidal waves. This could even be triggered by the solar system entering an interstellar cloud .... Do you actually think the continents float on an ocean of lava like a leaf on water? Are you really that stupid? The mantle under the plates flows very, very slow. It is compressed rock. It is not a liquid. The liquid outer core is compressed more still, it is not really a liquid. The core doesn't flip over, the earth doesn't flip over. Just look at the sun you idiots. It's field reverses every 11 years. What happens to the sun every 11 years. No a damn thing except it's north and south poles flip. |

The magnetic poles do not flip with the earth because the rotation of the earth stays the same. This makes it appear that there was a magnetic pole shift when in reality it was a physical pole shift where the magnetic poles didn't shift with the rest of the earth. |
