Your whole agenda is clear now. "Don't fill the lake."

The recreation of pretty boats on the lake is very unimportant compared to the agricultural necessity of the irrigation that the water provides. It comes early in the year and has to last all year.

Why do you hate all the farmers downstream who use the water from the lake to grow the food you eat?

They need all the water that they can get.

But whatever happens "don't fill the lake".

Why go above 850?

The pressure you are putting on this 50 year old dam is impressive. You got water leaking under the weir, running down the emergency spillway stair case, an uncontrolled leak out the gates that do not close properly with the gate house sporting a huge crack and problems with the actual gate structure that requires reinforcements. You have a green spot that persists on the face of the dam that is two football fields long.


Several video floating around that claim 850 to be a safe number for the lake but today we are at 895.07 and we still have snow melting and still having afternoon thunderstorms. So yes we are all still concerned and marvel at the obvious disregard for life.

Looks like Youtube has censored out all of the Oroville Dam Watch Group commentary videos, leaving only their old livestreams--which weren't particularly valuable as they were available elsewhere when running.

As the inflows begin dropping sharply in the days ahead, it will be interesting to see what DWR does with the outflows...

I wouldn't be surprised if they kept cutting those to just "fill 'er up," right Juan?

not working?

The lower spillway camera, in my experience viewing it, doesn't come on until like 0830ish? I have been watching these DAM CAMS for at least a month almost every day, and I have noticed that the viewing sessions have been shortened greatly. I constantly have to refresh the page.

How long has it been since we've been able to get a visual confirmation on the reservoir levels?

I haven't seen a reservoir webcam work for about week.

NOTHING is working via Roku today...not even a view of the hen house.

That's 74 hours of just two (2) turbines running at about 80% of their capacity.

AND a new record high lake level for 2019.

Note that the five (5) most recent outflow readings suggest two (2) turbines running at about 90% of their capacity.

Why not just run a third turbine?

Perhaps because they cannot run a third turbine.

I think that the Hyatt Power Plant has four (4) dead turbines.

It appears that they can no longer stop the lake from rising.

They are out of options.

All 3 cameras are timing out very quickly. This was not the case a couple of weeks ago, so something has changed. I'm sure they couldn't be hiding anything by limiting visibility...
