Looks like the Sierra's from about Oroville down to about Lake Tahoe seem to be the bullseye. Looks like areas in the coast near the CalifornMeanwhile Southern California Oregon border as well as the Sierra's down to Yosemite will be hit hard too. Meanwhile Southern California, Southern Nevada, and Arizona look to remain dry as a bone. Looks like their doing everything to make sure the dam in Oroville breaks flooding out everything downstream from it which likely include Sacramento. Not only that but due to all the fires there will likely be massive landslides if Northern California sees another really wet winter. All this while keeping much needed rain away from Southern California, Southern Nevada, and Arizona and keeping them in a severe and prolonged drought.

Juan brown just put out a new one today. Nice footage. A lot of ground has been seeded. Hope it holds up in the heavy rains forecast....not sure how much time it has had to grow.

I don't live in CA. Do your best forecasters expect a more normal winter, or another series of atmospheric rivers? Juan said if this winter is like the last one they would probably end up using the new spillway even though the lake is way down now. They want to keep it below 800 but might not be possible on a wet year.

So what are the computer models predicting?

Are the inflow and outflow labels reversed? How can they get 30,000 in the outflow with just the Hyatt PP?
