Yeah, there is only 130ft until crest left. It managed to reach that in one month in 2017, so don't think it can't again.

What was snow level that year? What was the rain?

What is the snow level right now? How much rain is anticipated this year?

We don't know what underlying structural damage was done during the last one. And you can bet THEY aren't going to say a word about it. You might find it buried in that 600pg report that they did in 2017 though.

Weather forecast at Berry Creek....15 miles away from dam, says rain for at least 10 days from Saturday!!!!

I followed it closely at several sites.

My main takeaway is that with all the DWR footage of the new spillway, and all the construction, there was never anything done on the gates. Juan Brown never showed anything with the gates either.

Scott Cahill, the big dam safety guy, had issued all kinds of warnings that if one of the cracked anchor tendons broke in the open position, the inlet channel would scour ie erode and probably open a channel under the gate structure. By the way they never bothered to concrete the intake channel, just left it that erodeable rock.

I have had to conclude they want the dam to fail, or they would have made the gates first priority. I think the greenies want to get rid of it and take central valley back to wilderness. The construction was window dressing.

If it fails, get all the almonds and other nuts you can and fill your freezer. It may be the last time you see them for many long years.

Actually all real estate prices everywhere need to crash. Real estate everywhere is grossly overpriced. High real estate prices are not a good thing at all. They are a very very bad thing and anyone that tells you high real estate prices is a good thing is a complete fucking dumbass.

Mammoth Mountain is near Yosemite right? I've heard the Sierras between Sacramento and Reno have gotten a shitload. From what I hear travel between Sacramento and Reno has been an absolute nightmare at least the last couple weeks.
