CAP'N DO YOU SUPPOSE IT WILL BLOW OUT AT THE GREEN ACRE ON THE FACE OF THAT DAMNED DAM?
OR DO YOU SUPPOSE THE GATES WILL FAIL?

The bottom of the intake to the gates is at 813', but they won't try to use it until 830-840'. What happens if the gates jam or tweak when they try to open them? Thanks for the input! Is the level any where near 830 right now? No, it is at 808' and rising. My neighbor works for Kiewet, the contractor. He told me the spillway was rebuilt to 3x the design capacity and should be fine. I asked him about the gates, and he just turned his head. SO...AT WHAT LEVEL DO THE GATES BEGIN TO GET IMPACTED AND WHAT IS THE LOWEST LEVEL OF THE 'GREEN SPOT?...AND WHERE DO BOTH OF THOSE WEAKNESSES GET 'IMPACTED'....AND..AS THE LEVEL GOES UP...THE PRESSURES INCREASE!....IF IT SITS ANYWHERE NEAR 900 FOR OVER A WEEK...IT GOES!!!! I SAY!!!
