Oroville Dam's Recently Reconstructed Main Spillway Fundamentally Flawed At one of the Oroville dam meetings last year they said if it fails there would be a 60 mph 100 foot wall of water at Oroville 30 foot wall of water at Sacramento. There is only one exit for the water from that big valley, it all has to go through San Francisco. If the water exit is blocked by flood debree it may never be cleared out forming a big toxic lake. |

It is supposed to be torn out and replaced with new permanent spillways and fix the gates after this wet season.
