AH ... but in it's infinite wisdom DWR now says they won't open the Main Spillway Gates UNTIL the lake hits 899'!!


When the lake is hitting 899' EVERYBODY in Oroville should be on the road getting to higher ground (imo)!!

There's a silver lining in every cloud and I suppose if the dam fails the california state legislature would go and silicon valley too.

100% agree... except for now they are saying not until 900 feet...

They would have to close them before intake gets too low and cuts away the gate structure.

If you move your cursor over the map, Lake Oroville GPS coordinates are 39.56/121.45. Its a little black spot on the map....is that supposed to be a boat, or fish? Anyway, you can't miss it.

The watershed is north and east. Look at that blotch. Looks like in the 6-8 inch range.
