The live feed~ front loader just took out a fair chunk of dirt.

Those are scheduled downstream releases. I.e., from the afterbay and diversion dam into the river. Not from Lake Oroville.

Obviously. But increased river releases do not necessarily equate to increased dam releases. There is a lot of water stored in the forebay and afterbay.

It already came out of Oroville though, that's what he is saying. The lake can't lose the same water twice.

They are emptying the bays ahead of time to make room for the overflow, in hope that it doesn't destroy the levees downstream.

Watch for them to evacuate the fish. Once the fish are safe they'll tell the people to go like last time.
