Any thoughts as to why:
1. The orange cones are blocking off the whole downhill-side lane on the bridge now.
2. There are always puddles of substantial size on the bridge up against the walkway that now no longer even dry up completely in the hot day-time sun.
3. they drilled two massive holes to the left of the bridge only to cover them up with what looks like sheets of plywood.
Also, has anyone heard there is a large horizontally-shooting leak high above the spillway and just under the top of the bridge near that end where they drilled those so-far-unused holes?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77016816 Probably just as I have suggested twice......
The red painted 12'+ crack is worsening....
AND that end of the bridge sits on a ledge 10' across.
I think it was said it is about 10 inches wide
BUT...5" of that has "spalled" or cracked up and broken away.
That area, the east end of the bridge over the gates is labeled "Pier 10"
I believe it is getting worse.....MUCH worse.
This is why they ALL OF A SUDDEN....
Decided to build the "NEW" bridge across the end of the spillway.
Again "Sure would like to see that red painted 12' crack AND the ledge condition today"....
BEFORE it breaks apart and takes out the ENTIRE gate structure!
How many hundreds of tons of concrete and heavy equipment has traveled across that damaged area in the last 2 years?
