I have been wondering as well. Theres a porta potti up there and a shade canopy. It almost looks like they are building a break/lunch area. Seems like an odd place for one, though.

Claus just put up a picture showing the patch applied today to the area I've been anal about.

imo the road dips/sinks right where the workers left foot is and then the road elevates back up to the headwork's bridge. That's two movements; down and then up.

if the road was not critical to maintaining ORV I wouldn't have even posted on this. The service road is critical and the problem looks to be recurring.

No service road no Orovile Dam imo.

Yeah, it's like that commercial about phone service where they would ask did you do a good job fixing the dam..no, we did an ok job..you know what they say if the dams doesn't stop the water something definitely will 75 to 100 miles downstream when it breaches and collapses and look on the bright side you will have all the free water you ever wanted in some parts of the basin.

This could be the dam failing from piping.
