Wow that sucks, I feel sorry for her and imagine if she was in a sanctuary city and illegal this would never have happened. I hope she doesnt have a drinking problem but having a baby in jail is cruel.

The jail warden was on the radio this morning and said she she had four outstanding warrants of several other jurisdictions some drug related. She was moved to the infirmary and gave birth there.

$10,000 cash bond for having a first offense of a suspended license?! Wow, that isn't overkill much, is it.

Apparently you have never been arrested before, or been to Michigan. You pay 10% of the bond which is $1000. Not long ago it was $500 in Illinois, not sure what it is now.

Yeah, she broke the law but her child didn't. I'd sue the dog shit out of them. They had to see she was pregnant. They have to pay now. Period

Maybe she was Indian. I remember when Dennis Banks, a MI chippewa was jailed after a protest in the 70,s and they held his young wife down the hall in a cell. He wouldnt talk even being beaten, and Kamok gave birth to her first child on the floor of that jail with out one sound, so he wouldnt be made weak by her suffering and they named their baby Iron Woman. They were held without bail.
