A woman at church told me her friend was in ICU with the flu virus in her heart after getting the flu vaccine. Never heard of such a thing.

I know, my Dr semi-leaned on me to get me to take it. I had to tell him in no uncertain terms that I WOULD NOT!

It's been rough night with high fever, and fluids, I can't stand to move my arm, as it's too sore and swelled with fever in it. I can't believe I did this to myself.

Funny, I've never had the flu shot and I've not been sick in 3 years.

I went to a new doctor on Tue and he wanted to give me a pneumonia vaccine. I told him no, Thank goodness. They just try to raise their revenue and don't care about you. He laughed at me when i told him I took nattokinase for my blood instead of warfarin or such.

Vaccines still require your body to produce antibodies to fight the antigens in the vaccine. It's not a magic bullet.

Feeling shit after a vaccine is common, ask your doctor next time, or read the leaflet, it will be in there chapter and verse.

I worry about getting it too, so I take lots of vitamin D, vitamin C, B-complex, magnesium, trace minerals and other stuff.

Then if I think I might get sick, like traveling or something, I take lots of olive leaf extract, maybe some oil of oregano, eat lots of raw garlic, drink lots of tea.

I'm sorry you got sick from a vaccine. A girl at work had a flu shot and was sick for 2 weeks. I bet she gets another one next year too. Very nice person. Clueless.

The only people I have known that got pneumonia were ones that got the shot. A relative got the shot and was in the er the next day because of the horrible side effects.

I got the shot about a year ago. Everything went fine..

I am not a "get a vaccine!" person who thinks you need a flu shot every year just because...

But I have gotten the pneumonia vaccine before and will get it again probably in the next couple of years.

I have very specific reason for that.

One of those is because we are overdue for a pandemic influenza. In some previous flu pandemics, it was not the flu that killed people so much as the pneumonia they caught right after, because the pandemic flu can leave your lungs vulnerable to catching pneumonia.

Another reason is in case of hospitalization... pneumonia is one of the most common causes of death in hospitals.

Finally, unlike the annual flu shot, the pneumonia vaccine is only given every 10 years.

Like you, our experience with this vaccine is that there is an immune response to it... bump on the arm, sore as all hades, and feeling lethargic or slightly sick for a day or so. This is to be expected, it's not out of the ordinary for this vaccine. That's your body's immune response kicking in, building antibodies to the foreign proteins. That's exactly what it's supposed to do.

Is it worth it? Depends on your situation, but like I said, we have before, and likely will again in a few years.

We don't pray for kaffirs.

Here is update for those asking and those praying. Thank You all for praying for me, or sending good vibes. I truly appreciate it.

I had high fever and chills all night, my right arm is so painful I can't move it. I have red spots running down my arm, and now have developed horrible headache. I just contacted Dr. Again, they said sounds like you are getting sick. This is from shot, not me getting sick. I just read I am experience Cellulitis, which is what that red painful area is. The Dr. is not concerned.
My red area is all the way down to the crease of my arm where you bend you arm.

Dr. Says I am having a systemic reaction, told me to take beneadry.

My parents Dr. has been pushing it on them HARD with scare tactics for the last couple years.

They know I will be irate if they get it.... fucking asshole industry.

MY 2 cents (if you can get them) would be to at least:

- get activated charcoal capsules: consume them and break open capsule, mix charcoal with a little ACV to form a paste, and rub on injection site for 20 min 5x/day
- take milk thistle 3x day for the next month
- drink Braggs ACV+raw honey in water throughout the day, as much as you can stand.
- EAT RAW GARLIC
