This has to be the dumbest post in this long thread. Do you even know how the US ended up fighting Germany in WWII?

Adolf Hitler declared war on the US on December 11, 1941. He didn't have to, the German alliance with Japan only said that Germany world help defend Japan if attacked. Since Japan was the aggressor Germany could have ignored the US and and focused on the Soviet Union where in December 1941 the German army was approaching Moscow.

But Hitler was a dumb fuck and declared war on the US. And really it didn't matter. Hitler and the German high command already knew the war was lost by December 1941. For Germany it was a quick victory or defeat as they knew they couldn't win a long war.

Hitler came into the war on the side of Japan against the United States not simply because the US declared war on Japan, but because the United States has been arming Hitlers enemies. Hitler's declaration of war was a announcement of solidarity with an ally against a nation that was materially enabling Germany's enemies. The US had already armed Germany's enemies. Hitlers declaration of war was an honest move and it allowed him to attack the lend lease atrocity.

All other political parties were banned. The German police could search anywhere and take anyone into custody without a warrant. Their mail could be read. Their phone calls could be monitored. Freedom the people of Germany did not have. This is when the police state of Nazi Germany was born.

A month later the Enabling Act of 1933 was passed making Hitler the absolute dictator of Germany. The Reichstag was not abolished, however they no longer had a job because the Enabling Act meant Hitler could create laws and the Reichstag had no say. The World J3wish Congress iniated a boycott against Germany in 1933 due to the antisemitic Nazis seizing power. A single British newspaper carried the headline "Juda Declares War on Germany". Hitler seized power by outlawing opposition political parties and removing the legislature (Reichstag) from the lawmaking process. Free elections were not held again in Germany until 1948.

Read about the Reichstag Fire Decree and the Enabling Act of 1933 and you will see how someone who never won an election whose political party only got 33% of the vote quickly became absolute dictator of Grrmany.

Hitler's Nazi party only won 33% of the vote in the November 1932 elections, which was 2 million less votes than they recieved 6 months earlier. With no majority party Von Hindenburg appointed Hitler Chancellor of Germany.

You cannot be this dumb. Unlike the United States where there is a two party system and one is bound to get a majority, Germany had several popular parties.No party EVER had clear majorities in the Reichstag. The chancellor was chosen from the most popular party at the time.

I know he history of how Hitler came to power, it was because the people were behind him and his policies more than any other German leader of the time. Hindenburg recognized he was the best choice for Germany and so did the people. If there had been popular resistance I would agree with you, there was virtually none. There are times when a single person making the decisions with the help of a loyal party is the only way to get problems under control. Germany needed quick, decisive actions and the steps Hitler took were obviously correct economically. You are full of shit here dude. The Nazi party recieved 37% and 13.7 million votes in the July 1932 Grrman elections. 6 months later in November 1932 the Nazis only recieved 33% and 11.7 million votes. The Nazis thuggish tactics were losing popularity with the German people.

Hitler had Von Hindenburg issue the Reichstag Fire Decree where the German people lost their civil rights. This is a fact and is not in dispute. No more freedom of speech or freedom of assembly. No rights against search and seizure. This was blamed on the communists who were thrown in jail along with leaders of the other political parties. The Nazis weren't stupid and losing 2 million votes from the citizens of Germany let them know that to maintain power they had to eliminate the opposition which they did.

The Enabljng Act of 1933 wasn't because of communists as they were in jail by this time. This law passed by the Reichstag gave Hitler the power to worry about who the people elected to the Reichstag. Goring was head of the Reichstag and pushed it through.

These 2 laws passed in the first 60 days of Hitler becoming Chancellor are the foundation of the police state of fascist Naxi Grrmany.
