Tornado Warnings - Valentine Day Storms

Ouch. Snowflake storm!

There are 2 Tornadoes in the region that have been touching down & showing on radar :

1) Downtown area == now moving east from the inner city into east Houston , still waiting on damage reports. This would be the northernmost Tornado in that region at this time.

2) Fort Bend County (Sugarland > Pearland > Friendswood > League City / NASA ... ) Emergency ENA Coordinator giving live report on WX Channel now of damage & spotting of tornadoes by Sheriff's Dept... Reporter now saying I-10 corridor region is general track from west to east.

WX Channel is staying a town named STAFFORD (? area) in that region has been hit hard w/ heavy damage all over ...

BREAKING: A TORNADO IS NOW HITTING GALVESTON (brand new warning) .. .. more to come

Note: The WX Channel has just corrected their earlier announcement that there was an active Tornado Warning for the island city of Galveston itself -- now stating that the tornadic area in nearby Brazoria County is currently tracking towards Galveston and still ~20 minutes distance from entering that area from the west.

They are now talking about PASADENA + BAYTOWN under severe conditions at this time.

* At 924 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Angleton, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

At 922 AM CST, a confirmed tornado was located over northeastern Houston Ship Channel, or over Cloverleaf, moving east at 45 mph.
