Never liked the guy, he acts like a retarded 10 year old for internet fame.

Typical for late teens/early adults with a strong desire to distance themselves from that which constitues "childish". Those are millenials in action. They believe the staus quo, they believe what the mainstream media and TPTB tell them and they vigorously oppose anything that goes against their accepted mainstream narrative. Hopefully pewdiepie reaches a younger, more conservative and less brainwashed audience.
