I was doing ok, until I watched this vid....My wife just left for Vacaville (West of Sacramento).
I fear that this downplay of the situation is NOT Good!
If that damn Dam lets loose, she will be under 10 feet of water.
Geeze...THAT is really a bad situation. Is there any
way that she can check her local info and have some
clarification? You have to be careful what to believe
with some of these UTUBE videos. Some can exaggerate the
news...not saying this person has done so--but there
should be a way to check.
From my understanding of the video, the UTUBE author
is saying something about Merced--is that close to where
she is going?
Keep us posted...and please don't worry. Like I said,
this is ONE person's "take" on what is going on--do
some digging with all your spare time!

Vacaville is west of the Sacramento River.......I will ask her what she has heard.
She flew into the SAC airport today. Unfortunately, her parents are not in a position to travel right now, so if there was a flood, their house would be underwater.
That is just so scary, kiddo. I heard the Utube author
in the video you are talking about mentioning the
National Guard soldier say that they had already begun
to warn people with "disabilities" or health problems
to NOT come to the Oroville area due to concerns about
a sudden EVAC order again. Then another soldier could be
heard on the audio saying: "We have already begun for
the eventual SECOND EVAC."
He didn't say that they were issuing the 2nd one, only
that they believed there would eventually be one coming up.
This whole thing is just so confusing because you know
the social media is trying to get the correct and latest
info out for people, while the mainstream and gov. has
to be very careful about what they do and DON'T say.
One UTUBE author said that the local sheriff had shown
up at his door just for FILMING the damaged spillway--that
he had been "trespassing" on private property. So...you
can see they are being very careful about creating a
panic.
My best wishes to you, though. I'm sure this is very
upsetting for you.
