THE JUBILEE YEARS: 17 AD AND 2017 AD |

Report Copyright Violation | THE JUBILEE YEARS: 17 AD AND 2017 AD "In the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar—when Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea, Herod tetrarch of Galilee, his brother Philip tetrarch of Iturea and Traconitis, and Lysanias tetrarch of Abilene— during the high-priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came to John son of Zechariah in the wilderness." [Luke 3:1,2]
Once we understand that 1 AD marks the beginning of the reign of Tiberius Caesar and not the birth of Christ, the final pieces of the Time line puzzle fit perfectly. In 15 AD John the Baptist began his ministry as the forerunner of the Lord. This was the Year the Lord was baptized by John. Was tempted by the devil in the wilderness. And began His public Ministry. It was also in 15 AD that the Lord went to His home town, Nazareth, to proclaim the fulfillment of Isaiah 61:1, 2.
"So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor...to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord..." [Luke 4:16-19]
The "acceptable year" the Lord came to proclaim was in 17 AD, which was a Jubilee Year! Notice the Lord didn't complete reading the verse which says "And the day of vengeance of our God." This is because when the Lord came the first time He came to save lives and not destroy them. He said so Himself to the Disciples when the they wanted to call down fire from heaven to destroy those who rejected Him.
"And as they went, they entered a village of the Samaritans, to prepare for Him. But they did not receive Him, because His face was set for the journey to Jerusalem. And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?” But He turned and rebuked them, and said, “You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.” And they went to another village." [Luke 9:52-56]
This Year, 2017, is also an acceptable year. A Jubilee Year. This Year the "Day of vengeance" part of Isaiah 61:2 is going to be fulfilled. This time the Lord is coming again, not only to save all those of us who love and obey Him, but to destroy all those who refuse to know Him out of hatred, and as a consequence continue to live in disobedience towards Him.
"...it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints..."[2 Thess.1:6-8]
In 17 AD in Month 1 Day 16, on First-fruits, the resurrection of many saints took place. "...the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection..." [Matt.27:52,53]
Exactly 2,000 Years later in 2017 AD, this Year, in Month 1 Day 16, on First-fruits, I believe the resurrection of millions of saints is going to occur again! This time those of us who are alive are going to receive our glorified bodies and join them, as they ascend up into heaven. This didn't happen back in 17 AD because the Church Age had just begun. Now the Church Age, after 2,000 Years to the Day, is finally coming to an end! Be ready saints! We're finally going home! |

Interestingly enough ... there are no issues really with the information itself. The reality of the blood moon tetrads, signs in the heavenes, amazing numerical symmetries, 11:11, biblical symbolism, this year being Hebrew year 5777... It's the conclusions that are often reached, they are not tethered to the information, but are often tangential in assumption in many cases Isaiah 61:1-2 has been at the forefront of my thoughts in the past 2 months, literally every day. The Jubilee connection is quite stunning, but there is a leap of faith involved because the tribulation is not clearly defined, nor has it ever been as to WHAT the tribulation consists of. That it must happen before Jesus Christ's second coming, as His kingdom 'will come in a way unforeseen by men'. Also 'going home' is slightly different than having the New Jerusalem meet us halfway, being caught up in the air with Christ ... and that it will be on Earth as it is in Heaven. A beautiful thought process, but if the scripture is in our hearts, we should be talking about it, making people think ... so I thank the OP for this Of course when we attempt to guess dates for His return ... 'tis better to not make any projections, no one knows the day or the hour. People tend to latch on, and it distracts us from His Word... and puts expectation into the formula ... and the nature of expectation is disappointment. Though worth repeating ... it's perfectly alright to make guesses, it's fun, and this is partly because of the excitement ... that we may be ALIVE to witness His return ... God bless:)  |

When we count 1 Jubilee of 50 Years, from 33 BC, we arrive at the next Jubilee Year 17 AD. There's no Year 0. The Lord was 16 Years old in 1 AD, and started His public Ministry in 15 AD, when He was 30 Years old. The Lord conquered sin and death in a Jubilee Year in 17 AD.
From 17 AD, when we count off 30 Jubilees, we arrive at the Year 1517. From 1517, when count 8 Jubilees we arrive at the Year 1917. From 1917, when we count 1 Jubilee we arrive at the Year 1967. And finally, from 1967, when we count 1 Jubilee we arrive at the Year 2017. This is the Year, I believe, the Lord is going set us free from the bondage of corruption!
