I can just about believe we landed on the moon. BUT. How in the hell did they get back to Earth? Just get back in the rocket and turn the ignition? And why have they not been back in over 40 years?
Quoting: BadMoonRising 68168229 they docked the LM with the CSM and then discarded the LM. The CSM (command and service module) had a large rocket attached to it. They haven't been back because nobody has wanted to pay for it since then. Actually, they would have left the bottom half of the LM on the Moon and only docked with the top half. True. They used rocket staging whenever they could, discarding whatever wasn't needed.
