Why did Neil Armstrong bring a movie camera back from the moon? The fuel to get it there and back plus the fuel to carry that fuel would be prohibitive. Yet the PhD left what he claims was the camera he used on the moon in a closet for his wife when he died. That is how he told us it was faked. He was and is a genius. Overlooked clue by everyone.

Funny how some people on here believe the moon landing hoax and many other government exposed hoaxes yet log into a conspiracy site everyday, even though the moon landing is literally conspiracy 101, as well researched and entry level as it gets. I refuse to believe anyone who comes on here saying they still believe that bullshit. They're just here to protect the lie and put a spanner in the works like all good shills do.

I decided, just the other day, to broach this subject with my father. The reaction was incredible. He went off about how many of my relatives worked on the program, how he sat in the Saturn rocket, etc... But his emotional reaction was most surprising, it was almost as if his entire world view was put into question and that I was mad to even ask the question, or to question any of the official narrative.

He would not consider any evidence, look at any of the material, and yet considered himself an expert on this and that i didn't understand the 'science', that if i believed such nonsense i must believe the world is flat, and that every opinion i could have is nonsense.
Hmmm. did I make a mistake?

The one thing I finally saw was the fake person or the real person coming out to the moon, the person should have never been see through, the background can be seen through that shadow looking shot. Did they turn see through, they were whole later. If you did not notice this, go back and find it and look carefully.

Doing digging on the subject doesn't mean watching more conspiracy videos, it means getting off your ass and putting the claim to the test. I seem to be the only one on this thread who has actually done that, and guess what? The claim was false.

can you really say that with 100% positivity?

I don't see anyone else measuring the actual hatch in this thread, just the usual confirmation bias by way of posting other YouTube videos making the same claims. It's not up to me to prove a negative though, it's up to you to prove my data is wrong. If you made measurements, post them.

NONE of the hoax claims stand up to scrutiny. What they do is expose that those making the hoax claims know very little about the subject they argue against.

That you had to resort to the shill gambit says a lot.

Then research the camera used and realize this was expected.

I don't know. I go back and forth between giving NASA the benefit of the doubt and not buying the story. I think since it was the first time(s) we had been there; unexpected things might have happened like the way dirt coming out of the lunar rover would behave. They discover unexpected things all the time going into low Earth orbit even.

Another idea I have is that maybe they have had the tech to protect from the radiation belts but they don't want anyone to know. It seems like this crucial tech would be classified or kept secret so no other nation would be able to access the moon without it. If it really is that important; which it is, you would think that they would not tell the world how they do it not even with a general concept. Next thing you know every nation would get the capability to go to the moon .

Also, if you go on Wikipedia, there has been a lot of third party confirmation that there are artifacts still there. Apparently, the Japanese sent a probe and took high resolution photos of the lunar rover and equipment left behind. I guess there could be various motives to lie but I doubt them. Tons of people were tracking the missions as they happened.

And the Soviets were said to have been tracking the path on radar. Surely, they would have been using the best tech and intelligence available to track the missions' every move because they had a massive reason to disprove the validity of the missions. The missions were a huge loss for them and their program. Could they just not have had smoking gun evidence so they remained quiet or did they actually confirm that it happened.

But there is a ton of strange stuff that indicate NASA is full of it. I just feel like just because you can't explain it and NASA hasn't taken the time to explain it adequately doesn't necessarily mean it didn't happen. Just because it was a fairly recent event doesn't mean that documents haven't truly been lost or maybe the important people involved legitimately forgot how certain things were done and there was no documentation of that specific thing. And these experts that people talk to love to pretend to be the God of their realm but that doesn't make them all knowing. It's possible they accidentally give wrong information or have wrong information. The guy is a curator right? Not God

But I have a real problem buying that with an already cramped craft; NASA engineers would design the door to open inward. That would be incredibly stupid.

It's easier to do it that way. When pressurized, the craft's internal pressure helps keep the door shut and sealed.

and when there is still enough room, who cares?

Plus, the LM was designed and built by Grumman, not NASA.
