Did I Meet An Actual Knight Templar?

I've met a lot of interesting people in the bar scene over these many years. And I've also developed a pretty good bullshit filter.

Yesterday I met a man claiming to be a member of the reborn Templar Knights. And in this case my bullshit meter is confused.

He made a few claims about the Knights, some I knew, some I didn't. Friday the 13th got its notoriety from the mass burning at the stakes of the Knights in 1307 on Friday the 13th.

He also claimed that the Holy Grail is not a chalice. The Knights have the chalice, but they also have the Grail. And he knows where the relics are. The clue he gave me was the sails on the Santa Maria.

He claimed that very soon the world will be hearing a great deal about the reborn Templar Knights.

However, he didn't know that the Vatican is its own country. Seems like something a Knight would know.

Anyhow, it was one of the most interesting discussions I've ever had in a bar.
