37,290,640,853 in circulation at present. That's a *&^load of coins. Bitcoin has 16m.

Daily Volume is $1,275,040 (compare that to Bitcoin which is over 200X that)

In the past week, where most of the top altcoins have improved price and volume, Ripple has been floundering.

Not sure this is a good stealth candidate, or that it can improve with so many coins outstanding, so little volume, and it doesn't seem to even be in the same league. The only thing it has is market cap, currently at $237,974,699, which puts it in the top 10. But market cap isn't enough - that could be simply a placeholder before people push it into a growing alt or bitcoin.

I could see Ripple being another Dogecoin - good for some small upticks, but nothing special, and it's probably not going anywhere fast.

Sure, there are some players that appear to have adopted this currency - I believe Google and some other players are using it for some transactions / incorporating it into some products. Is this enough to make it rise? Not sure...

It's a long shot, and there may be better risks on a newer currency with higher prospects, and lower shares outstanding.

That being said, I own some, but I have low expectations for it. Eth, Dash, Monero, even Ripple & Maidsafe probably have better short and medium term potential for rising.

With the Alt Coins, one best scrape profits out and push to the top few coins when you can. Those that know how to do TA and shorts can do even better. Some of the exchanges allow for conditional, limit, and one-triggers-another order, that can be really useful.
