Gas lighting

Long day in the snow and wife hands me my coffee. Says she made it just like I always do.

2 Cream and 2 Sugar.

I look at her oddly and tell her I never take sugar in my coffee.

She proceeds to tell me "You always do. You always saying two cream and two sugar at the drive-thru, etc."

She made me second guess myself and think I was losing it. I know for a fact I never take sugar with my coffee but she insisted I always do.

Then she started laughing. WTF?!

My mind was fried from being in the cold all day thanks to the nor'easter but I know I didn't lose it.

It was like a mindgame. Not good!
