How do Women know absolutely everyone?

When a man and woman move into a new town or a new area watch how quickly the woman gets to know and is on first name terms with the whole community.

You can be walking down the street 10 minutes with a woman with you and during that 10 minutes you can guarantee she'll have said hello to about 20 people who are passing.

Women immediately know every neighbour on the street and around the block. They have held at least one conversation with every dog walker on the block.

Women have their mailman, car mechanic, hair stylist, pizza delivery guy, etc etc all added on facebook within a month of moving to somewhere new or meeting them.

How are they doing it?
