He gave no instruction to celebrate his resurrection, even though it was Jehovah's guarantee his sacrifice was acknowledged valid. His sacrifice was to be held above the prospect of eternal life in the resurrection.

"Also, he took a loaf, gave thanks, broke it, and gave it to them, saying: “This means my body which is to be given in YOUR behalf. Keep doing this in remembrance of me.” 20 Also, the cup in the same way after they had the evening meal, he saying: “This cup means the new covenant by virtue of my blood, which is to be poured out in YOUR behalf." Lk22:19

As far as the Easter Bunny cutting in stealing the show, I don't think he's going the distance, he's going down with the Church

Jesus death is to commemorate, his resurrection is God's promise of a second chance for all, well worthy of celebrating providing it's not tainted with pagan customs. Remember the Romans celebrated the rebirth of the sun which the Church morphed into Jesus' birthday. There may be reasons why Jesus did not instruct celebrating his resurrection, however appreciative the intention. Can you think of an example?

Jesus died for an entire human family who were sold into sin by their original parents....he preached to ALL...for that reason......

We are all sinners in that we fall short of the perfection of God...but all have a chance to learn of God's requirements and exercise faith in the death of Christ...

As Alexander the 'great' spread rule or ruin destruction across Europe his Greek became the dominate language so Hebrew was translated into Greek . In time Latin spread and the Greek Septuagint Version was translated into Latin by Jerome, that's all they had for 1,000 years until Wycliffe and Tyndale translated it into English. Why didn't God direct your 160 other 'books' to be added to his word? Does having a bible make one Catholic?

Ask Josephus he kept track. Will Satan's global dooms day nuclear arsenal be destroyed before it inflicts total extinction? Ask Jesus, he's keeping track of the threat.

That's right, only a remnant of them are still on earth which is why most commemorating only observe and don't partake.
They're the only ones invited to serve as assistant kings with Jesus in heaven, anyone not invited who partakes is bringing judgment against himself. Not something to toy with.

Do you mean partake of the bread and wine? That's the number cited as invited to serve as assistant kings in heaven, Rv14, the Great Crowd, unnumbered due to Jehovah's open invitation to everyone will be beneficiaries of the 1,000 years of divine healing. Ps37;19
"Let anger alone and leave rage;
Do not show yourself heated up only to do evil.
 9 For evildoers themselves will be cut off,
But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.
10 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more;
