During the campaign, Trump promised over and over to repeal Obamacare on day one of his administration.

Trump and the Republicans owned both the House AND the Senate, yet Trumpcare still failed and there is still no repeal of Obamacare. Trump's only plan now is to sit back and wait until it explodes?? WTF?

It's not going to "implode". That is a myth.
It will get more and more expensive and many will no longer be able to afford it and many will have to drop it and pay the penalty. But they can't afford that either because even that penalty will be a bankrupter. We will see less and less options like many are already experiencing. We may all get down to just a few big Huge providers across the entire nation! Who knows? It will be painful for those of us not on Medicaid.
But, if you think it will fail or implode because of lack of funding, you are wrong. The budget will always fund it, it is written in already. So, this thing is around for several more extremely painful years. And it won't hurt any D voters because many of them get free healthcare anyway or are rich enough to afford it or have .gov jobs with good healthcare packages. Even those that are affected, it won't change their vote, they religiously vote D while bitching all the way or they never vote anyway.
So, we are pretty much stuck with this because of the Freedom caucus not willing to uphold their end of the bargain. They get 80% of what they want and it still wasn't enough. Thanks for nothing guys.
But, they may have cut off their nose to spite their face. Dems will likely gain control of the House and when Trump goes to work with them to improve healthcare for the crying masses, the Freedom caucus won't get a thing. It will be the moderates on both sides that will work out the deal.
