What REALLY causes Lunar Eclipses?

The moon, the sun and the earth are supposed to be lined up like billiard balls for a lunar eclipse to occur.

Then why have there been lunar eclipses (at least fifty in the last two centuries) where the sun and moon have been seen above the horizon, which puts the lie to the idea of the "earth's shadow?"

Whatever causes the lunar eclipses, it seems not to be the traditional explanation of NASA ad others (started apparently by Freemasons),

Could it be something else? Ancients spoke of the Black Sun, a celestial body which was the real cause of the lunar eclipses.

Could it be tied to-------gasp!!!!!!!!!! The Flat Earth? I don't care one way or another----but one thing is sure-----questions remain----and there is "evidence" that needs to be looked that contradicts the traditional explanations. There is no dishonor in asking questions. The thing is, anyone who asks questions is labeled a nutcase.

I guess I await the same thing now.
