Why is it that in North Korea's leader photos, his commanders always carry a notebook and pencil in their hand?

They do it to take down important quotes , words of wisdom etc of Kim Jong. Literally they hang on his every word and need to be seen as being attentive and interested. Pretty much they do it in fear, I wouldn't want to be the guy who stopped writing. (True story)

They ALWAYS have their little notebooks and pencils out, cracks me up...

Do a google search for north korea leader, and click on images, .... His commanders are always carrying most of the time their little notebook and pencils.

Its funny as hell!

Because unlike the USA, N Korean military commanders take orders from the leader. They write down important notes to be addressed later.

In the USA, the "leader" takes orders from the military - hence the people with the shiny stuff on their green and blue suits require no notebook.

Very simple.

They have to keep their Last Will And Testament continually updated, and stab themselves in the eye when required!

I also have noticed that none of his commanders or people around him have any weapons on them. Its probably not allowed.

No, I actually do not care about that country at all. It just amazes me why people put up with the abuse of a dictator starving its own people to death. I just don't understand why the entire population doesn't revolt against him. I wouldn't live in a country like that, I would get the hell out of there!
