I don't think their women are ever let out without a "chaperone." I know in some countries women aren't allowed out and about without a male relative to accompany them. I worked with a girl who wanted to visit her boyfriend's family in whatever horrid country, she had to fake marry him before they went, just so she could always be accompanied by a male (her bf) and so he'd be considered her male relative.
