I have been thinking about this for a few daysQuoting: NothingToLose
So, after FDR term limits were set for presidents - and as far as I know, JUST presidents.
That move alone was all it took to get the silent coup rolling here in the USA.
It seems so freaking obvious now, but I stumbled across a video recently on youtube describing how Nazi experts in many fields came to work in the USA government after WWII... and the timeline just fits with when it seems like things really started to go to shit.
Imagine: You are a CIA, you were here long before the new president and you will continue to be here long after his term ( or terms ) is up; eventually, especially if the Nazi part is true, but even if it isn't... eventually those who
a. have a lot of power
b. do not answer to the people
c. work in secrecy
would morph into thinking they are the ones who run the country... and from the way things look in 2017, they may well run the world.
I am going to bed now, but I am curious if anyone agrees or can refine this thought a little... I am so tired I can't get my wording right, but I hope I get my point across
The term "deep state" has come up lately, describing the masses of appointed or unelected people who stay on after a transition of power and are hard to remove. This removal process is what President Trump refers to when he talks about "draining the swamp". The swamp does have power, basically doesn't answer to anyone, and yes, they typically work in secret.
