Milwaukee jets in the air?

Nothing out in Lake Country. See the occasional jet on the way to Madison area base here and there. Windows are wide open and skies are quiet.

Take a drive to the air refueling wing on the south side of the airport. If those tankers are all gone something is up.

I saw three flying low and fast in eastern Massachusetts earlier today.

Is that unusual behavior in the area?

I lived in Milwaukee for 7 years and the only time I heard or saw fighter jets were from air shows. There is an air refueling wing so it is not uncommon to see the big guys flying around, but fighters are very rare in my experience.
