They bused the kids miles away to a safe zone (some university) for parents to go and get. They reported that parents were running alongside the buses waving and trying to see if their kid was on the bus. They have been doing this for a while now, taking kids off-site, miles away without parents knowing where, and now they have parents chasing buses.

Yes and no. There was something going around several years ago about them including this as a part of the sex education classes as school along with BDSM. I believe it was NYC. Never heard of it happening in Texas, but there was no way I would take that chance with my own daughter.

It shouldn't be the school's responsibility to teach children about these things. Parents need to step up and do their jobs. If parents don't want to get involved in educating their children, the shouldn't get freaked out when some sick asshole teaches them the wrong. By signing the permission slip, they're giving the educators permission to do whatever they want. They are giving up their parental rights.
