Muslims asked to use the lounge in my building for some kind of feast over the weekend. You KNOW they just wanted to rub our faces in it as there are no specifically designated Muslim festivals or days or whatever in April. It was just about making their presence known to the Easter-celebrating Christians. They didn't even ask the building manager. Just a tenant who volunteers. Thought they'd slip it past us. But it didn't happen as people just stayed in their apartments after all. They will try again. And I will lose another fucking friend!
